Elsie is a country artist from Columbia, Mississippi, known for her rich vocals, heartfelt storytelling, and genre-blending sound. Drawing from country, soul, and folk influences, she creates music that is both raw and deeply personal. In 2018, she made history as the first African American and first Mississippian to win The Country Showdown, earning the title Best New Act in Country Music.
