Elsie is a singer-songwriter from the small town of Columbia, Mississippi. The middle child of six children, she has always had a knack for entertaining. Elsie began playing the piano at her father’s church at the tender age of twelve. At seventeen she discovered her love for singing and songwriting and since then she has written a plethora songs, with genres ranging from country and pop to soul, folk, and rock.
Elsie has a passion for songwriting that moves your feet and stirs your soul. Her vivid storytelling paints a clear picture and is paired with a voice that overflows with raw emotion. These elements can be heard throughout each track on her debut EP, ELSIE.
Aside from releasing her latest project, in June of 2018, Elsie was crowned “Best New Act In Country Music” after winning the largest country music talent search in the nation, The Country Showdown.
Elsie is currently in the studio recordering her next project that it set to be released in the spring.
